Bug or Feature?

        1 BIRT
        2 DATE 1 JAN 2000
2 PLAC Rock, Delta Co., Michigan, USA

If I inadvertently omit the PLAC tag, PGV will put the place on a separate line from the date, add a space to the stored GEDCOM before the first comma in the PLAC, show that space **and** a colon in the HTML, and put everything up to the comma in a span of class 'label'

Is this response to my GEDCOM error a bug or a feature?

If you omit PLAC, then you have a birth attribute of "Rock", with a value of ", Delta Co., Michigan, USA"

This is structurally valid gedcom, with a non-standard tag of "Rock".

If you add a translation for "Rock" to your language file, it will be translated, just as any other tag.

Ah, yes, of course.  Makes sense.
    So it's a feature.  :-)
