What I would like to try is the same, BUT picks up the SPECIFIC page from which the link is triggered, i.e. http://www.adkins9.net/individual.php?pid=I4795
Any ideas on how I can have the "link trigger" READ the page URL?

You are requesting help. This belongs on the HELP forum, not the open discussion forum.
I'm at a loss to understand what link you wish to provide and why, but again, this should be addressed in the help forum. -Stephen

Darn, and my day had been going so well up to now. I guess I'll just have to pay the category-violation fine. Or maybe I was subconsciously inviting comment rather than actual "help?" The idea is when people visit Mary's page they generally have a family-connected interest since a lot of facebook 'friends' are family members, and visitors often end up making a contribution, whether B/M/D information, military, a photo, comment, or whatever. Well, that was the thought, for what it's worth..

Thanks for providing a refreshing laugh morning.
I use AddtoAny which provides a configurable script to do the job. With a bit of css you can put it where you like and hide what you like.
There are several other sites which work equally well: http://www.addtoany.com/ http://sharethis.com/ http://www.addthis.com/
I put the following code in my footer.php
Without addressing the merits, as an experiment I have added a line to my theme footer:

No fine. You can simply hope that others who may care to deal with smart asses try to help you. My day is still going well.
