For several people it looks like an image attached to the person's birth is displaye in their 'portrait' rather than the correct one. I can supply a sample GED fragment on request.

(a) You should be using the Help forum for your question.
(b) You need to edit the media object that's not picked as the main picture for the individual, and set the Highlight option to "yes". You should actually be doing this for ALL main pictures, whether they're currently correctly selected or not. Each person should have only _one_ picture with the Highlight option set to "yes".
There have been LOTS of posts about the method by which PhpGedView chooses the image that is to be displayed as the main image for a person. I'm NOT going to go into the details again.
