I am getting the following error whenever I view one family. I need to enter the names of children to this couple. But it only shows till the Brothers and does not display Wife's name which I have already entered (and Accepted/Approved). But now cannot enter the Children.
Fatal error: Call to a member function getSex() on a non-object in /home/.letty/ashwink/<surname>/tree/includes/controllers/individual_ctrl.php on line 885

Just figured out why the error.
I earlier entered 9 children (a mistake instead of 5) under this parent.
Done Undo Changes and rejected 4 entries
Now, that shows 9 children with 4 as "unknown" with no name nothing.
Now when I go to Edit > Delete Individual, I get the following error.

You have no access to pid I48.
The requested GEDCOM record could not be found. This could be caused by a link to an invalid person or by a corrupt GEDCOM file.
I dont know how to sort this out but I am the Admin of this site.

First, I would recommend, before you keep building your tree, that you upgrade to 4.1.6, or WAIT 2-3 weeks to work on anything and upgrade/install 4.2. These are the current programs that are supported.
Secondly,
If you review the definitions of the two forums, I think you'll discover that your issues really belong in the HELP forum:
"Request help from other users for phpGedView" and not here in the Open Discussion Forum.
Thirdly,
I never recommend deleting an INDI from the database. When one of my users errors and misenters data, I enter that incorrect INDI's datafields as Unknown, Unknown.... and save the changes. Then I go to the FAM record if this person is attached and use the CHANGE FAMILY MEMBERS function and detach the person from this family. Then - I have one of those 'dummy' persons I'll need later as a fictitious spouse to use again and again. Once I use that person to make a family to attach a child, then I simply detach them again.
Fourth,
With so little entered and so many minor errors, you can do two things to fix your problem easily. a) Start over, or b) export your gedcom (if you have sync disabled) and reimport it - only a matter of a few seconds with less than 100 persons.
Hope this helps, Stephen

Is that possible to do from the SQL / backend? Or what else can be done?
Unless that happens, I will not be able to move ahead in creating their tree.

It would be less confusing for users to have a "patch 1" of bug fixed files known to be good for 4.2.0, to end up with "stable" 4.2.0p1 rather than force SVN onto them which might or might not be "production site" ready.

Which version of PGV?
Are you attempting to use remote links.
If the answers are SVN and yes, then it is a known bug that I'm working on right now.....
I am using 1.4.5 and NO, not linking anything here to this family.

I will just wait for 4.2 upgrade and then move ahead. Hopeful that this issue should get resolved by then.
Just wanted to check if now it is ok to upgrade to 4.2 and hopefully this issue to be resolved?
What do I need to do for upgrading?
"Access Denied" when it should be some other error message is already listed in the bug tracker.
I just need to delete 4 individuals from I48 to I51

Plenty of threads already on HELP and OPEN Discussion menus relating to upgrading. Yes, the release version of 4.2 is stable, although there have been over 100 bug fixes since its posting. You could, instead, DL a SVN Tarball:
http://phpgedview.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/phpgedview/trunk/phpGedView.tar.gz?view=tar

I'm running the SVN version on my site. I haven't encountered any problems that weren't of my own making.
