I am seeing inconsistent death entries in the Individual list query when I choose ALL family names for ALL given names. The problem appears only for entries that are NOT dead, will sometimes show as "Yes" in the dead column. I noticed this when my kids suddenly showed up as dead. If I then go to that individual and look at the raw GED contents there is no DEAT entry. These will also move around so that if I refresh the individual list report these entries will no longer show that entry as death = Yes anymore.
From within the browser if I run the report then do a search on the word "Yes", sometimes it finds 314, sometimes 315 and sometime 320 items out of the 2566 items in the list even if no items have been changed.
I am running 4.3.1 SVN 7337 (though problem is reproducible back to 7321) and has been reproduced in both Chrome and Edge browsers (so not a local caching issue). This looks like it is an uninitialized variable or something (just my two cents from years of coding).
I have not been able to reproduce this error.
To be absolutely safe, you should do a full database backup using phpmyadmin (or some similar software) before you start the following procedure.
Please try exporting the database to a GEDCOM file and then re-importing that file you just exported, letting the program erase the database contents. You don't need to download that file you just exported.
If this doesn't work, please take a screen snapshot showing the erroneous individual list, and e-mail me a copy of the exported database as well as that screen snapshot. DO NOT POST THIS HERE. Do not use the SourceForge e-mail system for this.

Thnanks Gerry, I now get a consistent 183 "Yes" death entries. Is there an explanation for this type of corruption, or should it be standard practice that once a month I perform this procedure to flush out bad data?
Douglas:
I have no idea how this database corruption happens. Whether or not you do a monthly export-and-import is entirely up to you.
I don't do ANY on-line editing of my database. The data is maintained off-line with an ancient version of Family Tree Maker, and when I have accumulated enough changes, I export that Family Tree Maker database to a GEDCOM file which then is imported into PhpGedView.
So, in a way, I do that export-and-import too.
