Build PGV (4.2.2 in this instance) in folder 'aaaa'. Complete the installation, revert permissions for config.php to 644 as normal.

At this stage, the variable in config.php for $SERVER_URL is set to the build URL, including '/aaaa' at the end.

Wish to rename folder to 'bbbb' - ftp to server, change folder name.

Log-in proceeds as normal, but once login accepted, next page not found.

Backtrack, reset config.php permissions to 777. Repeat exercise from the start. Same result.
If, after renaming folder, I reset $SERVER_URL to end with '/bbbb' all is well.

PHP is 5.2.0-8
MySQL client version: 5.0.51a

This is obviously a bug in the Installation wizard.

Fixed in SVN 6182. Replaced "install.php".

A Zip copy of "install.php" for PGV version 4.2.2 is attachd.

The fix causes the Install wizard to clear the Server URL value that's about to be stored when it's identical to the previously calculated value.

The fix will NOT automatically clear the configured Server URL value -- that will only happen when you save the configuration (which doesn't actually need to be changed. You can clear this value manually, or you can simply save the configuration. Once it's blank in the configuration file, you can change the name of the PGV install folder as often as you wish.
