I don't know if this is a real bug, but I thought this is the right place to post this message.
In the file editlang_edit.php are some inline styles hard coded. Throughout the file you will find inline styles with the colors blue and red hard coded.
I have made a modified theme with a dark background. At every update I have to change this file and delete all the blue and red style codes.
You could think what is the point, because this file is just seen by the site admin, but the blue text is really not readable at my dark background.
My style is available at PGVThemes.com (the JustBlack theme) and I deliver a copy of the modified editlang_edit.php file with it because of the above.
But I would really like to see that all the inline styles are deleted. Maybe put some css classes in it, then it will be possible for every theme to style the text colors through css.
Tnx in advance.
Hi - I agree with you, but also agree this is not really a 'bug' as such. Viet has just posted a comment on PGVThemes on this subject. He is working in this area at present, mainly looking at table-less designs. I have already commented about the inline styles issue here, (https://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=3268438&forum_id=185165) but you should add it on his discussion at PGVThemes as well.
Actually - he could do with some help if you have time!
I started reading the discussion on the link you gave me. But it is quite a discussion just to jump in!
In the next week when I have the time I will read through it and then decide if I could be of any help, because you are right, they have made some changes already but there is an awful lot of work to do.
And sorry for posting in the wrong place but thanks for your quick answer.
