On a multi-gedcom site, my default gedcom is the 5th in the list (St Just in Penwith) under "Welcome Page". Most of the time it seems to be the one selected. But if I ...
1. goto the site.
2. login and go to "Admin"
3. Choose "User administration"
4. Click "User List
5. select a user and click "edit"
6. Make a change to something
7. click update user account
The gedcom selected remains the same as the default ... all OK so far. The address bar has
useradmin.php?action=edituser&username=<the user I'm editing>&ged=<the default gedcom>
8. click "back" ... the button next to "Update User Account" ... to go back to the user list.
The gedcom selected changes to the 6th one in the list (Truro/Redruth). You can see that not least by the text changing under the top left main site logo (standard theme) to the title of the other gedcom.
The URL shown in the address bar now has
useradmin.php?action=listusers&sort=&filter=&usrlang=
There is no ged= parameter, but even so I'd have thought it should stay with the default. But it doesn't, and all the row of large icons etc. now have the 6th gedcom in their ged= links.
It's only when you click the "back" link/button that the gedcom changes.

I can't reproduce this. The current gedcom stays on whatever I put it.
