#2299 [4099] New family not shown on relationship tab

When adding a new family to an individual from the close relationship tab (is there other way?), the recently added family is not shown, so there is no simple way to proceed to add children to that family.

This confuses my users to no end. I get duplicates, children incorrectly linked, etc.

The new family should be visible on the close relatives tab as a pending change to let them add children, navigate to it to add marriage dates, etc. without waiting for the addition to be approved.

There are a number of problems involving visibility of pending changes. But the one reported here has to do with never calling action=ajax with show_changes=yes. The attached patch fixes this issue.

The problem is fixed in SVN. Please check if the problem has been
    solved and let us know.

There is something strange, I have not noticed any recent change on any of the relevant sections, I guess I am on the wrong page. Is this in trunk? What change number did it?

I'll test this anyway, but I want to make sure.

  • Julio Sánchez Fernández

Uh, scratch that, I found it. Seems OK, but will test.

This bug report was reported "fixed" some time ago.

Presumably it can now be closed?

Setting status to "pending". It will autoclose in 30 days if there are no further comments.
