John,
I tried to add this to an earlier bug report but found, as Kiwi pointed out, that I would have to raise a new report.
I've discovered an inconsistency when displaying trees with multiple spouses. I've attached a screen capture that shows this quite clearly.
The upper image is the tree for James Richmond (as indicated) and his gr-gr-grandparents are all correct (and are also the 1st spouses in the respective marriages).
The lower image is for his son, David. This time the wrong spouses (from the 2nd marriages) are selected for the same ancestors. I've been unable to identify the reason or pattern for this and it seems almost random in nature.
I would also like to see some way of distinguishing between branches emanating from different spouses using colours (or colors), shapes, line variations, etc. This probably involves a huge amount of work so I can understand if it's impracticable. The current set-up is a fabulous addition (even with it's foibles). I'd also add that I prefered the inclusion of multiple spouses in the ancestor branch and that any confusion would be removed if you could find a way of distinguishing between them.

I've also found that single mothers appear to be excluded from the tree.

I haven't been able to duplicate the problem with showing the wrong ancestors spouses. If you still get the errors with the latest code, could you email me a sample of your GEDCOM that duplicates the problem? You can email me at yalnifj at users.sourceforge.net.
I've fixed the problem with the missing single mothers (svn 3769).
Regarding multiple spouses on the ancestor side, I think it is better to leave them off for this first release because of the confusion they would cause. But I would like to revisit them in the future. In the meantime we can focus on distinguishing the children from multiple spouses. Different colors might work, but then as we continue to branch it can get difficult to choose new colors to use.
Thanks,

Happening to me intermittently. Not only will pick up the details of a different person, they'll come from a different, unrelated GEDCOM. I have two on my latest SVN system. I've noticed it over the last few weeks. Seems to happen near the start of the session - then when I go back over the same path, it comes good. I was writing it off to PBKAC but now I'm not so sure.
