#2164 Linking Name Causes Problem with Chart

I have a person with a father in the database. If I create a chart, say the hourglass chart, then this relationship is shown correctly with the correct names. The father is in another file on the same server. If I link the two using link remote person, then if I look at the chart, the father's name is replaced by the root person's name. The index value is shown correctly, and if I click on the box the correct record is shown. Somehow just the wrong name is being shown. I have deleted the father, made sure the families are all clean, then tried again, and the same result
