Visitors see on the individual Media Tab and Album, the family and source media list, in the Media viewer and in the MultiMedia List sources of media objects.
When they edit the object they do not see the source and when they save a change to existing media objects the source is removed.

My users have again removed sources when they updated media titles.
It is time to correct this bug.

I have reproduced the problem on Greg's new GEDCOM site with just one individual, one media and one source and assigned this to John as he was the one to add media repository ID privacy to PGV.
I first added a Note to the media that had a linked Source of level 1.
The GEDCOM source is shown to the public.
I added a repository to the source and defined on the Gedcom privacy to show this repository ID only to authenticated users.
Now I no longer saw the source or the note when I edited the media as a regular user.
The admin saw still both.
It seems that the repository ID privacy does not work on the edit media page.
----
I removed then the repository from the source definition.
I still did not see the media source or the note as a regular user when I edited the media.
I did see both as the regular user on the media-viewer page, the multimedia list and when I raw-edited the media.
I deleted the repository.
I still did not see the source and the note when I edited the media as a regular user.
I logged off and logged in – I still did not see the source and note on the media edit page.
I closed and re-opened the browser and logged in again as the regular user.
When I edit the media I do not see the source or the note.
I log off and close the browser of the admin (FF) and of the regular user (IE).
I log in as regular in FF.
I still do not see the source and note.
I removed the note from the media.
I still do not see the source when I edit.
I cleaned the cookies.
Still I do not see the source.
