    Solved for individuals.
    Thanks.

Similar problems exist for NOTEs and SOURces.

When I try to edit Note data of I8715 I see:
ERROR 2: in_array() [function.in-array]: Wrong datatype for second argument
0 Error occurred on in function in_array
1 called from line 416 of file edit_interface.php

Warning: in_array() [function.in-array]: Wrong datatype for second argument in /home/meliza/public_html/phpGedView/edit_interface.php on line 416

When I edit his last Source, I see the data of the previous source.

His Research Assistant shows also a lot of dates.

When I update a family fact I see all the family facts as if they changed.

I have removed the first blank records that existed before the 0 @xxx@ records from the following DB tables:
I did it by removing the Hexa '0A' (or the \n) before the 0.
    I used queries like
    UPDATE pgv41_families
    SET `f_gedcom` = (SELECT substring(`f_gedcom`,2)) WHERE `f_gedcom` like "\n%"

I then downloaded the GEDCOM file.
    It looks OK.

So what created these blank records?

I think that the main problems with this bug report have been addressed.

The problem of all of the family facts showing as being updated has been posted in another bug report.

    Can we close this one?

I no longer have a problem, but I think we should get rid of these blank data lines either at the time the data is imported or exported (or both).

I need to download a GEDCOM file in order to be able to re-import.
I am sure there are also others in my situation.

The downloaded file contained these errors.
Not everyone can run ad hoc queries to clean the DB tables before downloading the GEDCOM.

But if you think everything is under control, I am ready to close this posting.

    Meliza,

Didn't you try downloading and uploading a GEDCOM again without the errors? I thought that you said you had and that the blanks lines did not return?

Yes, after I removed the blank lines from the DB using 5 MySQL queries.

I don't think anyone else is experiencing this problem and I still don't know where the extra lines came from.

I guess we need to make sure that if we do happen to get a GEDCOM with extra line breaks that the lines are removed during import.

This bug report was reported "fixed" some time ago.

Presumably it can now be closed?

Setting status to "pending". It will autoclose in 30 days if there are no further comments.
