[ 1424477 ] Export Dates for external Calender (Sunbird)
I have to say, I don't know much about the technorati website.
It looks like ChristopheBx put it in. Maybe he can explain what it is all about?

It creates an 'iCalendar' file which, in theory, can be imported into your email/calendar software. However, I use MS Outlook, and there are compatablity issues that prevent it from working. When it was first added I tried to find a solution, but it seemed far too complex.
It can be removed from the blocks configuration options - " Allow calendar events download?" set to NO.
I think the idea is to add things like birthday / anniversary reminders into your calendar.

The ical export would ideally use the
http://svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/phpgedview/trunk/phpGedView/ical.php?sortby=date&view=log file instead of an external service. The file is a work in progress, but does generate valid ical files.

Yes I'm the one who has added this feature some times ago.
Not fully tested yet.
Any volunteer ?
