For some reason, doing a search and replace on places
does not effect Marriage places.

This is reported in 4.1 RFE 1508198.

Same issue applies to RESI place tags in Fam record -
perhaps it is not including any FAM record?

Can't find the 4.1 RFE 1508198 referred to by Meliza.

    Nigel,

Look in "Version 4.1 New Features (SVN)"

Before you close this - see discussion in "1756880 Place Check Errors for places that are no longer in PGV".

I have found a similar error when using search&replace on place names - they are not updated to the gedcom file, even when "update to gedcom file" is congigured to "yes'. This is still the case at svn 1319.

This bug report was reported "fixed" some time ago.

Presumably it can now be closed?

Setting status to "pending". It will autoclose in 30 days if there are no further comments.
