i used fantastico from cPanel to install the phpformgenerator.

i tried to access the form site ti gave me, it asked for the admin username and password.

this happened after i went into the file manager, went to the folder, and found that all hte permissions of the forms folder and html files were set to 777..  there was also a table : User Group World and on the side it listed:Read Write Execute...

i was told that if all of thosem permissions were set to 777   it would work ok. anyone know whats wrong??

try to read the project news and previous forum posts before posting something. This issue has already been discussed a number of times. Bottomline is that fantastico screws up with the phpFormGenerator installation. It ends up password protecting the entire form (and sometimes the users entire website!). The solution is to find the .htaccess file and delete it. It is recommended that you download and install phpFormGenerator directly from this website rather than through fantastico.
