I have just installed your script and getting this errors, database connection fails. Is there a direct relation between file permissions and mysql problems? Also upload doesn't work(I tried using flatfile and created the DB still upload doesn't work.
When it comes to mysql, it fails to create the mysql table, tried a lot but could not succeed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

check you DB info.. and in particular, read the error message you get and act accordingly. What exactly is the problem ur getting with file upload?
