I ma having an issue with the fact the v3.0 is not sending off the information via the email function.  All goes well, but when you hit submit, nothing ... does not even load the confirm page.

    Any ideas?

    Many thanks,
    Michael

No idea without seeing the form code.  Can you send me the link to your zipped form design?  I can have a look to see if there is anything obvious.

Actually what I need is the link to the PHP Formgenerator zip file that you downloaded.  It will be a file called "form###.zip".

OK, got the freee StuffIt expander.  Never used this before.
In any case what I find is that the form works OK and it does attempt to mail the form data and I see the confirmation page.
Remind me again what is the exact problem you are having, error/log messages, etc..?

Hey TNTEverett  ... thanks for having alook at it for me.  I use a Mac, so that is why I used Stuffit .. same as winzip, or winrar.  Funny ... everything works fine upto the point of submit.  I hit the submit butten, but then no email comes through and no confirm page.  It just sends me back to my main domain page.  I wonder if it is a permission thing?  I tired allow all 777 on all files and folders, but still the same result.  Any other ideas?

          Many thanks,
          Michael

PHP is server side scripting so your form should be completely independant on how you access the form.  Failures can most often be attributed to server setup.
Find out where the server logs are and see if there is any evidence of the particular failure you are experiencing.

wot is the settings for email? you can find this information in ur source code where it writes to db
and stuff and then a copy should be email(optional).

Please tell what mail client phpforgent uses is this php mail function or it does use windows 2000 mail function?

It uses the mail server on your web host.

I am having the same problem.  My webhosts have sent me a file as I need to add something but I do not understand any of it being stupid when it comes to anything technical.  Any help would be really appreciated

The form generator produces simple php code.  Issues are ususlly related to file and or folder permission problems.  If you still can not get your form going then send me a link to the download you saved and I will see if there is anything obviously wrong.

Me again TNTEverett ... ok I think I figured it out.  After changing the permissions to 777 for all folders and files, then change the back to default setting, everything seems to work fine now ... so for some weird reason, it is one of those &@**%$# permission things.  But thanks for your time.

      Cheers,
      Michael
