I am a beginner trying to put in a simple form that will relay to my email. I have no experience in php or MySQL. However I am the only one handling this project so I need to learn it.
I understand that this "phpFormGenerator" download should be put on my host server in its own directory. What I need to know is what to do after that.
Another concern is, the previous webmaster had "phpnuke" in the directory; is this something similar? will it affect the "phpFormGenerator" that I will be downloading.
Thanks for being patient. If these are too remedial of questions, could you suggest where I might get some help.
Thanks again.

phpnuke is a CMS, its something different. phpFormGenerator only creates web forms and the form processors. What you need to do is download the phpFormGenerator, untar/zip it, upload to your web server, and then point your web browser to it. The initial page will tell you if you need to change permissions on any of the files/directories. Follow the instructions. When you are done, you should see the form creation wizard page.
