Field size 1 & 2 for text area help???

I have created my form.  Everything is a go except I cannot get the size right for my text area.  I want a simple, standard size for my text area.  Every number I enter into the field sizes, gives me a very loooong horizontol square.

I just want a standard size text box just like the size of the one that you submit your reply post in.

Any idea what size this is???
