I'm trying to edit the HTML page to start with.... then want to work on the PHP once the frontend looks ok.
But I can't overwrite the mailer/use/form1.html page, and cannot change the CHMOD permissions on it for some reason?
Can anyone tell me what the problem is?

On different hosts the install program runs with different permissions. Forms then get generated with permissions other than yours. Contat your host and tell them what your problem is. They will change the permissions on all files in the formgen folders and this should no longer be an issue.
