I've installed formGenerator via my web host/CPanel and the generator worked fine up to submit. Then I got an error message, the email was not sent and there was no return to the thanks page. I checked the intsalation guide etc. went to my file manager and changed all permissions under the form file to 777 as instructed.
    Now I can't even access the generator! - I get a 500 error message.
Can anyone advise? (I noted a post that says to remove the .htaccess file but am reluctant to do this as elsewhere am told not to delete/touch anything!)

Sounds like a Fantastico issue, if you installed via Cpanel. Note these threads:

      https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=2635080

      https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=2684800

Did you search the forums before you posted (hard not to make this sound sarcastic, but I'm really not trying to be!)? I've found that, being a noob myself, unless you're a really expert programmer, a forum with this many entries and threads is probably doing to contain the answers one needs or at the very, very least a solid lead.

      Good luck!
