Can a form that has already been created be edited so that a new field will be created along with the corresponding database field? Or would I have to recreate the entire form over again?

Sorry I don't know the answer but I have an additional related question.
I created a form with one of the fields "required" by mistake. How can I remove the "required" status of the field without starting over.

there's no *edit* mechanism in the program's current versions. However to *unrequire* a form field, you will have to do some manual editing to process.php .

Is this functionality on the roadmap for the future? We're looking for a form generator to offer to our hosting clients, and so far this package comes the closest to matching our criteria. However, being able to edit forms is still a make-or-breaker. Just wondering if I should check back for future releases....

In the next version, phpFormGenerator would have an XML based project management system which would enable it to save, edit, and auto-generate form projects.
I don't know the release date for the next version however. It depends on my availability and perhaps some external funding.

Thanks for the tip. I was looking in the wrong place. I was able to edit the file and undo the "required" status of the field.
Thanks again! The program rocks.
