I have been using phpformgen v2.09c for some time now and find it very useful for all of my web form needs. Thank you.
I primarily use the forms to allow users to create custom HTML page code without the need of an SQL database and have done this successfully for quite some time now.
Now I am ready to take my custom pages to the next level and I wish to incorporate php Form Generator.
I have developed an application that uses free Open Source scripts and my HTML Page code and wraps it up into one coherent package.
I have created forms for the customization part of the package using php Form Generator.
My question is this.
The package has been bundled into a ZIP file ready for download. My intention is to charge a fee, not for the scripts themselves or php Form Generator for that matter, but for the package I have put together incoprporating my techniques and the use of the free scripts.
Since php Form Generator is an integral part of this package, and I intend to charge for the package will I be in compliance with any copyrights or trademarks regarding php Form Generator? I do not want to infringe upon anyones rights.
I fully intend to leave any and all author information in the scripts as well as any links and/or buttons pointing back to the php Form Generator site like the button found on the bottom of the Form page itself. I can also add a credits page with links to the package to give proper credit to the authors of the php Form Generator.
I further intend to make donations based on a percentage of total package sales to the php Form Generator project to use for further enhancements and updates to this wonderful program.
The site indicates that php Form Generator is available for personal or business use but I have not found any documentation displaying a Creative Commons License so I am not sure exactly what business use is deemed acceptable.
Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
