It's me again. This is sure a nifty program. It created what I assume to be a great form...except I can't see it. I have no doubt that the form generator did its job, but apparantly the server I use is quirky. I get an error, which I'll copy below:

The permissions are definitely set correctly now, except that the new folder that the creator made for me (called webquote) won't let me set it to 777. It won't let me access it at all. What the heck does this mean please?

the idea is that the directory the program creates for your form is owned by username under which the webserver is running. So only the root user and the webserver user have full access to that directory.
However, it seems like your webserver has some wierd "SAFE MODE" restriction. I have no idea what that is, maybe you should consult with your ISP and see what they say.
Also, you can try out an older version (v2.08 for example), and see if that one works for you since the "use" directory was introduced only in the latest version 2.09

You can ignore this now. The problem was that formgen was pointing me in a different direction via the links than I needed to go in. I've see it addressed in here before, but thought it was fixed in 2.9. You might want to look at that again...or it could be that my server is just screwey and the links would have pointed right anywhere else.
Anyway, the form is awesome! There's nothing to complain about at all. Thank you for such a wonderful program.

I'm sure you're right that it's my server...they have a lot of things set all weird to confuse me. But, since I found a way around it, all is good. I LOVE this program! :-)
