the program is worked on by volunteer developers. Therefore, they fix bugs/ add features/ create releases when they get free time. In any case, the development time frame is sort of irrelevant for a number of reasons: (1) There is a fully functional demo site installed and freely available for users to use as much as they want, and (2) there is a stable version 2.09 available for download. So there shouldn't be anything stopping you from creating forms.

Excellent program guys! I have finally created a form (6hrs!) and it is working ok using v2.09, however I would really love the features such as the pre-filled country drop down boxes and the security feature available with v3. I know you have a demo site, but for reasons I can't sort out, I am unable to download the demos I have created (unable to decompress the zip file).
I am using a brand new mac, so maybe I am just missing something simple here?!
Anyway, I eagerly await the v3 download!

Probably should have clarified it better - can it be down loaded and tested in an ISP hosting provider situation and have users produce forms in another hosting environment.
From a form producing point of view it seems to work well. An issue I do have if you do create a form and then wish to add / modify it later, it requires a complete rebuild of the form. Is it possible to edit an existing form apart from editing the code that was generated?

no, I do not want to deal with small scale ISPs in a closed beta testing program. The lack of knowledge and manpower of these so called "companies" backfire directly on me and my developers when issues of security, installation, and configuration arise. As a result, I get bombarded by emails from clueless users, most of whom end up getting pissed off at me because I will not provide them with free technical support. Consequently, they start submitting my email address to spam sites, and try other cute tricks to make my life a little more difficult.
As for your second question, you can edit your forms whenever you want. v3.0 has form editing features, unlike the previous versions. However, your form may not show up on the main page on the demo site. The demo site shows the 50 most recent forms. So if your form is more than 50 forms old, then its pretty much gone (hence the "demo" part in "demo site").

I notice that ver 3 was announced 9 months ago, but is not available for download. The demo seems great. So will it ever be released?
Can we help test it?
