In case my feature request gets buried or lost in the other thread I posted this to...I would like to see a drop down menu where ppl can select the person that they would like the form to be mailed to. I have several people at my domain and I would like to give visitors the ability to email one of these people by chosing their name from a drop down menu. I have a tiny script on my site now that does this, the problem is that everyone's email is "exposed" in the source code of the form and vulnerable to spam bots. If you need to see what I'm talking about go to http://www.grynmoors.org/contact.html THANKS for providing a super duper neato form maker. It rocks! I'm sure I'll be thinking of other really neat things to do with it!! :o) Salaams

the problem with your feature request is that it is too specific. The program is used by a lot of people and the point is to make it as general as possible so that everyone can use it. If I add drop down email selector specially for you, others are going to get disturbed by it. Similarly, every other person would want a special feature that applies only to them and that would throw me and the program in total chaos.
If you want personalizations done to the program specifically for your purpose, take a look at the services section of the project's website at: http://phpformgen.sourceforge.net

Well, it wasn't meant as a feature request *specifially* for me, it was a general request. I don't know if others would be interested or have expressed interest. It was just a thought. Good day.

My idea was for things like "who do you want to contact". Some websites might have a "sales" person to contact, or "accounts payable" or "accounts receivable" or some other person at the organization that they would like their customers/visitors to contact specifically and they could choose the person they wanted by using a drop-down menu. I was using the form that I is currently on my site *as an example* of what I'm talking about. I was not requesting special customizations. You have fulfilled other feature requests in the past, so I don't see how ppl would be "disturbed" by a feature such as this. It was nothing more than to submit an idea for your consideration for future versions of your form generator. If I gave you the impression that I wanted something specifically for myself, I apolgize.

I think that is a terrific idea for the script.
That happens to be the most important features that I am looking for!
The only other PHP script that I have found that does it uses the ioncube PHP encryptor, and the host refuses to adapt the server.
I hope it appears one day in this fine script....
Thanks.

Create a drop down menu as a field type, give the labels and assign the values.... the user can choose the recipients within the form itself.
