This all works well, I think. The only thing I'd do to make
it easier to keep track of what you're doing is to make
the heading of the windows match the heading of the
task, plus make the type of the task go bold when
you're in it.
For example, when you hit browse, you get a heading
giving you the number of records found so it's pretty
obvious you're browsing, but it could be even clearer if it
said "Browsing - n records found".
The "Create" task brings up a window titled "add
animal". Since there are "add animal" boxes elsewhere
in the application (such as when filling in foster
information), I think this "create" task should have
a "create animal" window title.
