Just to clarify, what worked is this (misplaced space in the line above):
return(mail($email,$subject,$body,$headers,'-f em...@fo...'));
Interestingly, the sender address shown to the recipient of this e-mail
is not the one I typed in, namely lio...@co..., but this one:
phpESP 1.7-rc2 <ph...@ma...>, where the program is running.
The main point is that this did solve the problem and got the mail past
the smtp filters. Thanks!
