[phpesp-general] error *[ Unable to execute query respondents. ]

Hello,
I am trying to test a survey on my site and when I use the test link from
the administration menu I get the following error:

[ Unable to execute query respondents. ]

I am not sure what is going wrong here, as I have not changed any
configurations and it had worked just prior.

I'm having the same problem as Barry - the PHPESP code is now deprected and 
I've attempted to fix all the deprecated error.

However, when I try to access a survey I am greeted with the 'login' page - 
once logged in i receive Unable to execute query respondents. ]

If the survey is public it works but I need my users to be logged in and hence 
the survey private.

Any ideas?
