An upgrade of perl triggers a php error? I don't think so ... probably other
system libs got updated as well.
But anyway: lots of these small fixes have been made in the latest released
version, I suggest you try to upgrade first. Sorry if this is a bit
inconvenient, but we can't continue searching for bugs on old version that
have probably already been fixed ...
An upgrade shouldn't be too painful though. You can even try it with a
backup database and a seperate install dir for the new version first, just
change the ini config file accordingly.
