[phpesp-general] newbie: phpESP on winxp, apache2 installation problem

I'm running windows xp, apache 2.x. Being new to php and phpesp I'm =

I've made some mistake in configuring something.=20

Here is what I get from loading test.php:

Now that I've disabled authentication (cuz I was never able to log in),
typing http://localhost/phpesp into my browser results in the main =
phpESP
administration page appearing properly. However, clicking on any of the
links on this page (e.g. "Create a New Survey"), causes nothing to =
happen
(the admin page just reloads/flashes).=20

=20

For example, manually pointing my browser at:

http://localhost/phpesp/admin/manage.php?where=3Dnew=20

results in the main page being displayed. There are no error messages.

Any pointers, appreciated.

That sounds like a register globals problems. I know the latest CVS has=20
a fix. Try turning register globals on, and see if that solves the proble=
m.

If that doesnt, also try enabling register_long_arrays, which is also=20
disabled by default in php5.

Here is what I did to get phpESP 1.7.2 working on my system:

Deinstall PHP5, install PHP4

Deinstall MySQL 4.1, install MySQL 4.0

Turn off authentication in phpESP.
