[phpesp-general] can't log in

[willymerk <wil...@ya...>]

Trying to log in to phpesp, using username "root" and password "esp". 
Only got the message:
 

401 Unauthorized

[ Incorrect User ID or Password, or your account has been
disabled/expired. ] 
 
Whats wrong?

Are you using IIS?  Are you using PHP in CGI mode?  Either of those 
cause authorization to break, turn off 'auth_design' and 'auth_response' 
in the phpESP.ini.php file.

A good start at more details would be the test page output 
(http://www.example.com/phpESP/admin/test.php).
