When I am prompted for the "Management Interface" credentials, I type the following: Username: root Password: esp phpESP does not accept these credentials, and it continues to prompt me for a username and password. Any assistance would be appreciated. -- L. Curtis Muldrew L.C...@th... |

You're probably seeing the mySQL 4.1 password length bug. mySQL changed the password hash length from in versin 4.1. Did the ESP, mySQL create/update scripts run successfully? This is the bug: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1153614&group_id=8956&atid=108956 it's fixed in CVS. If this is a new ESP install, I would drop the DB and recreate using the mySQL scripts from CVS. Unfortunately, SourceForges public CVS is down at the moment so I can't link directly to the files. Browse CVS from here http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=8956 get the latest mysql_populate.sql script from the scripts/db directory. On Mon, 2005-03-14 at 20:27 -0500, L. I'm having a problem with surveys fully posting for the end user. About 1-in-5 to 1-in-10 page loads fail to completely load. The first half to three quarters of the page will load, but the rest of the questions as well as the submit button are missing. Refreshing the page often but not always fixes the problem. Any assistance would be appreciated. Jesse Lenihan University Place School District Tech Services/Web Design PhpESP v1.6.1 Apache/2.0.48 (Unix) DAV/2 PHP/4.3.4 Running on OS X - v10.3.7 |

I know of no known issues that could cause this. Something with your setup. Perhaps a very short timeout or very low memory limit set in you php.ini? Please provide the output of phpesp/admin/test.php. On Tue, 2005-03-15 at 12:09 -0800, Jesse Lenihan wrote: > I'm having a problem with surveys fully posting for the end user. I set the logs to record all, but was unable to find any errors that matched up to an incomplete page load. -Jesse Matthew Gregg <gr...@mu...> on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at 7:24 AM -0800 wrote: >Can you tail your Apache error log an see if any errors are given when a >page fails to load completely? > >On Tue, 2005-03-15 at 14:53 -0800, Jesse Lenihan wrote: >> Matthew Gregg <gr...@mu...> on Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at 2:42 PM >> -0800 wrote: >> >I know of no known issues that could cause this. Don't really have enough data to help with this. It sounds like a local configuration setup issue with the apache/php/esp/mysql or some other variable. Sorry can't help more.
