hello, I seem to be having difficulty bulk uploading respondents. I uploaded the tab delimited text file, then it takes me to the respondent list, but none of the names in the file are in the list. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You Barry |

Hello, I am trying to test a survey on my site and when I use the test link from the administration menu I get the following error: [ Unable to execute query respondents. ] I am not sure what is going wrong here, as I have not changed any configurations and it had worked just prior. Thanks for the help. |

If you have access to the mysql database, you can erase the password field for the admin user in the designer table. Then you can login without a password. Don't forget to set a new password. grz Arjen On 2 okt 2010, at 17:59, Mrs...@ao... wrote: > I want to log in to the phpESP management account that I use for creating surveys. Hello, I have downloaded phpESP-2.1.4.tgz and opened it with Winzip to phpESP-2.1.4 but I can't open it and extract the folders and files inside. When I double click the file all it does is bring up a notice to say that Windows cannot open the file. I read some where that the version numbers should be deleted and leave a file of phpESP only. I have done that but again nothing happens when I double click the file. Can someone steer me in the right direction please. Thank you for your time. Peter |

This error is the result of this html code: <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.nisimasa.com/phpESP/js/default.js"></script> ==> if I go to that url, it says "Page not found". So your settings are wrong. Check your config of the base_url parameter. Hi, thanks for a quick reply and sorry for not specifying the version number, I had the problem in 2.1.1, i'm now trying out 2.1.4. 2.1.4 gives me "FATAL: Unable to open default config file. Aborting." every time, although the phpESP.ini.php file is there and I also tried to save it in different encoding. Sorry for the doubled message, Franky, I did not notice that the first one went to you privately. jass 2010/6/8 Franky Van Liedekerke <lie...@te...>: > On Tue, 8 Jun 2010 15:44:39 +0200 > Jass Seljamaa <ja...@se...> wrote: > >> Hi, >> >> I'm unable to add new lines to answers, I need more that 10 answers in >> one question. Hi, I'm unable to add new lines to answers, I need more that 10 answers in one question. I tried to google the problem and found people with similar problems, but no solutions. It seems to me as a javascript error since nothing happens at all when clicking on the "add another answer line" button. I tried with Chrome and FF and one guy described the same problem saying that he gets a javascript error with IE7, the error is (copypaste from http://osdir.com/ml/php.phpesp/2007-02/msg00002.html): Line: 193 Char: 1 Error: Object expected Code: 0 URL: http://www.mydomain.com/admin/manage.php Is this a known bug and are there any solutions? thnks in advance, Jass |

For the messages: it seems in the file admin/include/funcs.inc, the error reporting level was set to E_ALL, thus also showing informational messages. I've changed this so it won't happen again. Update that file with the one from svn and try again. Also I changed the file docs/INSTALL to point this out to people. Now, if you followed the instructions and changed handler.php accordingly, you shouldn't get the same errors anymore. At least the line numbers should've changed. Mail me a link where I can test this out, or mail the new error messages. Franky |
