Hi all, I´m testing phpESP for a planned human ressource assement site ...and I´ve to say that phpESP is really a great concept so far. But to use phpESP for our needs finally it would be great to have single-user-survey-evaluation features (as already someone described in a former phpESP newsletter). That would make phpESP really unbeatable...:-) Is there someone out there who like to face that challenge ? ;-) P.S: However, you are all doing a great job !... greets and thanks Jonas solo -- GMX - Die Kommunikationsplattform im Internet. http://www.gmx.net |

Do you mean that you need to be able to view individual responses (rather than aggregate data)? It is possible to get that information from the phpesp database. It is not an option though the GUI at this time though. Someone with a decent knowlege of relational databases should be able to show you how to get the information you desire. I don't have the time to add that feature now, though. -James On Sat, 14 Sep 2002, jonas solo wrote: > Hi all, > > I´m testing phpESP for a planned human ressource assement site ...and I´ve > to say that phpESP is really a great concept so far. > But to use phpESP for our needs finally it would be great to have > single-user-survey-evaluation features (as already someone described in a former > phpESP newsletter). Hi James, Exactly. yes I know that I can retrieve individual responses via SQL statements and I did that already and worked fine, but this is only usefull for one-time evaluation not for automatic human assessment feedbacks.. this means : as a user you can login, run your survey, and get your individual responses automatic and you can come back and observe your progress again and again... that´s what we are planning to use phpESP for.. ;-) However, thanks for your thoughts and I can understand that you are focused on more urgent issues . I am excited to try the 1.5 version. Btw... hows the new front-ent design growing ? cheers and thanks Jonas Solo > Do you mean that you need to be able to view individual > responses (rather than aggregate data)? Hi Guys, I know you've all been patient with the new GUI release. As I've mentioned in previous posts I've got a couple of days of work left on it and it will be available. I just need to find a couple of full days to finish coding and testing and at the moment my fulltime job is consuming all my time. Not commiting to a date but can say that it should be available within a fortnight. I think everything is ready for RC1, but that would mean that your GUI stuff won't be in v1.5. -James |
