Hi,

if they upgraded mysql to 4.1, I believe the problem is that the
PASSWORD function changed in mysql.
You can always mail me a dump (private mail then) so I can take a look
at it, but I suggest you manually change the password (again...).
It probably seemed a good idea at the time to use the mysql password
function, but it's giving more trouble than it's worth.
