[phpesp-general] Followed set-up instuctons to no avail...

I have successfully followed each step of the installation instructions, =
but when I try to access phpESP, I get the error " FATAL: Mysql =
extension not loaded. Aborting. "

When I load the test page I get:

and it ends there.  MySql is running - I successfully carried out the =
set-up instructions and verified that the tables were created.  Can =
anyone help?
