Depends on what you need. If you just need it installed, and occaisional updates as the package changes, you can find a hosting company that allows very very easy installation with a tool called Fantastico or something similar. Fantastico is designed to allow installation of common web hosting packages with just a few clicks. It takes care of what can otherwise be some confusing steps for installation. I'm not saying that phpesp is particularly hard to install by yourself, but if you're not comfortable with file permissions, creating directories, creating databases and users, then just about ANY PHP+MySQL package can be a bit daunting. Fantastico makes that all really simple by taking care of the needed steps and asking just a few questions. One thing to check on though: just because a web host offers Fantastico, does not mean that you will necessarily be able to install phpesp with it. I think the ISP gets to choose which packages are available for install via Fantastico, so be sure to ask. Now, if you are looking for a service provider who offers specific expertise in how to USE phpesp, that's a different level of support altogether. My ISP is called psek hosting (www.psek.com) and they offer installation of phpesp via fantastico, but no specific support beyond that. I'm happy with them. > Hi, > > Could anyone share the name of a good service provider to host phpesp > > TIA > > Tom K. -- Tom Arnold |
