Ron, Groupwise's "vacation message" function is horribly broken. It doesn't understand it's not supposed to send replies to mailing lists. So, every phpesp-general list digest you receive creates a vacation response back to the phpesp-general list which in turn creates another digest message to you, that creates another vacation message to the list, and so on and so on and so on...... If you're forced to use GW's vacation response, please create exceptions for any mail lists you are subscribed to or consider disabling mail delivery from the SF MailMan control panel[1] while on vacation.
