Category: SQL Group: v1.7 >Status: Deleted >Resolution: Invalid Priority: 5 Submitted By: Stephanie Mitchell (stephaniem) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Can't get passwords for respondents working Initial Comment: Hi all: I really want to be able to use this package - it's got great promise! I'm trying to create respondent accounts to control access to private polls. I can make a poll private so as to require them, and assign users to that poll's owner group, but they cannot sign on. I always get "ID or password invalid or expired" (or whatever the actual wording is). I've edited the password field in the respndent table to PASSWORD ('mypassword'), OLD_PASSWORD('mypassword') and even MD5 ('mypassword') but nothing works. This is with MySQL 4.1.12, PHP client API 3.23.49, Apache 1.3.33, Mac OS X 10.3.9, PHP 4.3.10. It also fails on the phpESP demo site (see my Test Respondents poll). Am I missing something or is it broken? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Matthew Gregg (greggmc) Date: 2005-06-03 12:13 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=14116 Please post this as a question on the mailing list including the output of test.php from your install. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=108956&aid=1214382&group_id=8956 |
