Summary: Problem with Other category in checkboxe

Initial Comment:
I'm getting an error when testing a survey created in 
phpESP 1.4. When a user puts in a value for "Other" 
when this is used with a checkbox (i.e. when "!other" 
has been specified) I get the following error:

Fatal error: [] operator not supported for strings 
in /usr/local/lib/php/contrib/phpESP/admin/include/lib/es
presponse.inc on line 156

However things seem to work okay with radio buttons 
and !other
