Feature Requests item #573866, was opened at 2002-06-25 18:03 You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=358956&aid=573866&group_id=8956 Category: data analysis Group: None >Status: Closed Priority: 5 Submitted By: Fredrik Clementz (rebirth) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Project Overview Initial Comment: There should be a managers screen somewhere which doesn't just show which projects are alive, but how many interviews collected in the surveys etc. to get a brief overview of the surveys which are active. Possibly you should be able to check in when you configure a new survey what your target is (number of interviews to conduct). Then you could have the surveys coloured yellow as not started, green as active and red as finished perhaps. Surveys should be reported one line for each so you could get a simple printout for the entire day. The row ought to contain ID/Name/Conducted interviews/Target to reach/Starting date/deadline/response rate (Conducted/Target). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: James Flemer (jimmerman) Date: 2002-09-16 15:24 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=39444 number of responses now shown in a few places ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2002-07-06 05:47 Message: Logged In: NO What can I respond to that? Examples have been popular before, so let me pick another one! Let's say I run a news website for beos (don't we all love that OS by the way). I have structured my visitors into different groups, developers, ordinary users, other news sites etc. On a regular basis I conduct small surveys with each of the groups on different matters, such as the news themselves, new products on the market and their opinions, feature requests in the future wanted etc. Suddenly I have 6-7 surveys active where I want at least 500 answers in each to make any good assumptions out of it. Unfortunately, I also have a lack of time so I would prefer just to get a quick overview of the progress rather than click through every and each one of them.... How do I get that? Sounds reasonable? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Kon Angelopoulos (angek) Date: 2002-06-26 08:06 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=198398 I get the feeling that you may have a specific need to be able to monitor/record interview processing/progress online. phpESP is a "general" purpose survey tool which can be used for many explicit purposes. It's its "generic" nature that provides such versitility; to incorporate such detailed features will, in my opinion, take away from phpESPs true purpose.
