Hi all!
First of all, Manfred, i want to apologize that i didn't even reply to
your Postings. The exams are coming closer and because of this school
has first priority right now :(
Now, i wanted to start the thread about the plans for the next
release(s) of phpEselGui...
I installed the latest mldonkey today (2.04rc1-6) and set ansi_term to
false, but phpEselGui cannot connect anymore!
I thought about a quick'n'dirty release which enables phpEselGui again
to work with the latest version of mldonkey and then begin with a new
release
We should also think about some re-structuring of the code. Since we
have to rebuild many things anyway (i don't think we should use telnet
in the future) this is a good time, isn't it? We could modularize as
much as possible.... if you want to.
And, last but not least, i want to start the survey for the wishes of
features, you'd like to see in the next release of phpEselGui:
- - Connection via the GUI-Protocol instead of telnet (should improve
speed and gives us more possibilities)
- - User/PW-Support, Maybe even with different kind of users (root, user,
guest, viewer)
- - setup.php (stole that idea from Manfred, but i totally agree with
it... could we maybe even make a "global" and "user"-area in here?
- - Some kind of statistic would be nice... but we'd have to set up a
cronjob which wouldn't make the installation of phpEselGui much easier :(
Well, i'm looking forward to your ideas/comments
