hm, i've tested it (chunks display right beside of the statusbar).. over lan no speed will loss :) respective i don't note any loss... we can integrate a script-execute-time-counter... on monday i will test it over internet... [this week i'll never go to work... respiratory illness... time for homework! :)] but actually the only question is the time which the telnet connect need.. when there is no lost over lan.. it doesn't over internet? hm.. i will test it! and if you dont want that, i'll build my personal version! *g* ;) |

Shouldn't it be in an > extra part of CVS / an extra download area on sourceforge!? If it we put it in a seperate directory and mention that those patches are experimental in the patch-script (+ in a readme-file, for those who want to patch manually) i don't think it would cause trouble... but of course, we can also release an extra-package "exerimental patches for current stable" and add a new cvs-directory for experimental patches for the current cvs-version I don't mind which of these ways we take... as long as we take one ;) What about a vote?
