where can i set the rules for the (e.g.) download table text (id, name, 
etc) respective how?

i'm not so proficient on this field...

All css-things are written in themes/themeName/default.css (and 
therefor: themes/default/default.css).
Use it in the gui by writing class=xxx in the sourcecodes of the tables, 
tr', td's... and so on.

Realy good docs are included in selfhtml (i never read any other ;)
