I thought about it, too. What do the others think about Manfred's way!? 
Would it be possible to put the bar behind the Text. I think so (td with 
background-image, using css: edit the width and put a "no-repeat"). 
Would save space on the gui ;-)

I'm a html purist, font things should be in the css or (at least) in 
style=...
Maybe an extra config called personalDesign.inc or so? A seperation of 
technical and design paramters...?
