PHPDictionary v1.5 Released

PHPDictionary is a piece of software written in PHP and MySQL that allows creators of conlangs
(constructed languages) to create dictionaries for their languages. This new version offers several
new features and improves upon others.

The Admin CP has finally been completed. It is password-protected using HTTP-Authentication and gives the admin the ability to add, edit and delete dictionary entries. The previous version only supported the add feature, and that was available to any user -- not just the admin.

The default layout has been changed -- as opposed to previous line of links below the header it now has a navbar. Other style changes include the addition of a stylesheet to make customization of design easier.

In the future we hope to refine the search function -- which now returns only absolute duplicates of a word. We also hope to refine a bug in the deletion process. If you add two entries for a word, and only want to delete one, the delete option deletes them both (this bug will be fixed by version 2.0) We also hope to add the option of having multiple language dictionaries, and that is planned for version 2.5 .
