PHP Database Interface / News: Recent posts

I know I said I was going to terminate the project, but I needed some updates for another project I am working on and thought I would keep this one up to date with the changes. So checkout the CVS version, since I will not be releasing until I am done.

As in all my other development projects phpDBi will terminate development effective immediately.

The final release will come as soon as the current feature set is finalized.

As for this release here are the major changes:

- Added tableInfo function to return the schema
- Added LIMIT to select functions for supporting databases
- Added LIMIT emulation available to all database types
- Added support for the Firebird database

When downloading 1.0rc3 it is recommended to download and update the directory with the files from dbi-1.0r3-patch1.

A functionality update. I am getting closer and closer to a final version everyday. Post comments, etc in the forum.

The entire dbi source plus demo data has been added to the CVS. This will be the best place to get the lastest and greatest. Otherwise files will be released as required.
