#297 Start and Due Date missing in View Calendar

No

The "(Start date)" and "(Due Date)" strings are missing for any task shown in View Calendar.

  • The string "Task:" and the task name link does appear in View Calendar
  • Both the Start date and Due Date have values in viewtask

Because a given task is shown in the calendar on both the Start and Due dates, it makes the user think one of the tasks is duplicate.

    Hi Garrett,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I will take a look into it and see what we can do.

    thanks,
    Jeff

FYI, this issue does not appear to affect Completed tasks. If I edit a task from Status: Open to Status: Completed / Completion: 100%, the calendar view correctly displays the Start date / Due Date strings after the task name.

    Garrett,

If I understand correctly, when a task spans multiple days, it should show the (start date) and (due date) text, like it does for completed tasks.

See the attached screenshot for an example.

Btw, it appears that this wasn't a bug, but was the intended functionality. But I agree with you that it looks like there are duplicate tasks with the same name.

    Thanks,
    Jeff
